As part of International Education Week, students from Ghana, Ukraine, China and Bolivia will participate in a discussion panel to speak about their countries' culture, education, food and traditions.
The celebration started Friday with guest speaker Elizabeth Costello, director of international affairs for the City of San Antonio, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Killen Center, 201 W. Sheridan.
The International Students Association will have its nacho fundraiser from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday in the mall.
The Public Administration Club will host a "Hello Japan" session in which they will show a Powerpoint presentation of their trip to Kumamoto, Japan, from May 14-19.
The sessions will be from 10:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m. Tuesday in Room 120 of visual arts and from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. in Room 312 of the new academic instruction center.
Dr. Jonathan Lee, chair of the history department, will present "Bridges to the World," a discussion on various countries' issues from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday in Room 120 of the visual arts center.
Lee holds a doctorate in history from the University of Texas at Austin, a master's in international relations from Yale University and a bachelor's in international studies from Virginia Tech.
The events will commence with a Thanksgiving meal for international students from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday at Koehler.
