Editor's Note

The process of putting this magazine together has been enough to make this student rethink his major. It has been a hectic time: writing, designing and editing this magazine. It started as a simple feature writing class, scheduled twice a week, over the summer; however, for the last month, we have been working every day to get this to press on time. Deadlines have been missed, extended and missed again. A lack of staff photographers forced writing students to pick up cameras, resulting in additional work and stress for students as well as our photo adviser. Time is not on our side; in fact, this note is being written with the looming threat of a missed press date growing closer every hour. I will be staying late again tonight, but luckily I will not be alone. The entire staff has come together to get this magazine out on time; some students did not even take the summer feature writing class but have volunteered their time and talent to make this deadline. This magazine would not be possible if it were not for all our writers-turned-photographers as well as our photographer-turned-writer, designers, editors and advisers who contributed their time and hard work. More than anything else, this has been a learning experience on how to get things done. It will be worth the early morning wake-up calls and the shouting matches when this is over.
