Researchers at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston have discovered a quirk in the constantly-evolving HIV virus that they say will help them to develop an effective vaccine for the prevention of the virus in the next 10 years.

"It is a long road; the virus has been around for almost 25 years, vaccine efforts have failed again and again, but we think we have a unique solution to the problem," said Sudhir Paul, a UT medical school pathology professor who has worked to find an effective combatant to the HIV virus for the past 19 years.

The mere thought of penning a piece on a film with the amount of buzz and hype that The Dark Knight has garnered has proven to be an overwhelming prospect, to say the least. But for a film that had earned an iconic status in the realm of comic book adaptations and big budget blockbusters months before it even began filming, a project that requested so much of its A-list stars that the chilling prospect exists that it drove a young, now immortalized actor to his premature grave; and a movie that broke every box office record imaginable, the idea that the essence of such a tour de force would be difficult to articulate seems all too appropriate.
