Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Student Finance Board (SFB) met to hear student organizations' budget pro-posals for the 2008-2009 school year. Over the course of the evening, the SFB reviewed the proposed budgets for many student groups, including the Trinity Intra-campus Guidance for Event Resources (TIGER) Council, Greek Council, the Trinity Volunteer Action Committee, the Trinity Multicultural Network, the Trinity Ambassadors, Campus Publications and the Recreational Sports program.

Unless a contract agreement is made, local channel KSAT-12 and the ABC network programming it carries will not be available to Time Warner Cable customers.
The contract, also known as a retransmission agreement, will expire Oct.15, and negotiations on a new contract have been unsuccessful between KSAT and Time Warner Cable.

Coming up to the sixth week of school, classes from one professor, Dr. Ivo Slavnic, have not yet received their syllabi. The students have also had a difficult time keeping the professor in class. They have had 9 out of 14 scheduled classes so far this semester.
