The Rangers recovered from an Oct. 29 loss to St. Philip's College in an easy 73-56 win over the Our Lady of the Lake Saints Nov. 5.
Even without forensic science sophomore Johnny Taylor, who was sidelined with a hip injury, the Rangers took a 13-4 early lead nearly nine minutes into the game and never looked back.
The Rangers mostly operated without the 3-pointer, making three long balls the whole game.
Kinesiology sophomore Nicholas Vincent, playing the post instead of his usual spot on the perimeter, helped with 9 points and a team high of five assists.
Kinesiology freshman Frank Rodriguez put himself in the spotlight when he scored 8 second-half points in only four minutes.
Rodriguez said he felt he had something to prove to his team.
The next men's baskteball home game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday in Candler.
