Relaxation is the feeling that Mexican artist Álvaro Santiago wants to project with his exhibit of 59 pieces in "Me Rento para Soñar," or "I Rent Myself to Dream," on display through Jan. 9.
The exhibit is at the
Instituto Cultural dé México, 600 Hemisfair Park. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

This college officially reopened the newly renovated Scobee Planetarium Nov. 12.
Although the planetarium resumed normal operations Oct. 3, the launching party was intended as the formal introduction of its new system, the Digistar 3, a state-of-the-art digital video system.

Students in a student development class are assisting in a toy drive for underprivileged families.
Counselor Christina Hansen put the toy drive together for her students in SDEV 0370.014, Personal and Academic Success.
Students were required to put in at least 10 hours of service, including dropping boxes on and off campus as well as working at the Family Service Association processing applications for inclusion in the program.

Half of the proceeds will go to the Black Student Alliance, which is helping with the project, Co-president Isaac Brown said.
