Problems with the Web interface PALS is still plaguing this college's faculty, staff and students two months after its "go live" date.
At the Adjunct Faculty Council meeting Saturday, the majority of the council had tales of frustration and confusion ranging from lack of technical support and problems accessing PALS from off-campus.
Kinesiology Lecturer Randi Wayland complained that evening faculty have no technical support after 5 p.m.
"What about us people that work in the evening?" Wayland asked.
Technical support is offered by district information technologies from 8 a.m.-midnight Monday through Friday and noon-5 p.m. on weekends.
There also is an e-mail help desk that will respond to inquiries within 24-hours.
The majority of council members raised concerns about accessing PALS from home.
Radio-television-film Lecturer Gerald Davey said PALS was down Feb. 24 and Saturday.
Concerns raised in the meeting were recorded by Javier Patron, who will send them to Ruben Flores, dean of evening, weekend and distance education.
The PALS system will be used for adjunct faculty elections.
