This college's Adjunct Faculty Council will host a faculty fair from noon-6 p.m. April 5 in the Fiesta Room of Loftin Student Center with vendors who will provide information on issues topical to higher education teachers.
The fair will include representatives from district human resources, city of San Antonio, life insurance and travel agencies and many more vendors.
Kinesiology Lecturer Randi Wayland, who is coordinating the event along with business administration Lecturer Allison Duesing, is asking for part-time and full-time faculty members to volunteer at the event.
Wayland also is calling for faculty to contact area businesses interested in attending the fair and making monetary donations to the Adjunct Faculty Council.
All faculty are invited, Wayland said.
She also stressed to the council Feb. 25 that at the fair there will be no products for sale.
