m midnight to 1 a.m. Saturday on television station KISA Channel 40 on the LAT TV network and Grande Communications Cable Channel 15.

Time-Warner customers must subscribe to the variety service package to access LAT TV on Channel 81.

The show taped its first segment Sept. 7 at Blue Star Brewing Company.

About 150 people packed the studio to watch.

Expect "Late Night Live with Cleto Rodriguez," to have a mixture of the class of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," the humor of "Saturday Night Live" and the vibe of "Great Day S.A.," executive producer Carlos Maestas said.

The first guests were actor Jesse Borrego ("Blood In, Blood Out," "Con Air," "Lone Star") comedian Paul Varghese and radio personality Xavier "Da Freakin' Rican" of KBBT 98.5 The Beat.

The show will feature comedians, current event video segments, round table discussions, actors and performances by comedians and musicians, Maestas said.

Sexto Sol, which blends alternative rock, Latin and soul music, is the house band, he said.

The goal of the show is to showcase local and national talent and entertain the audience, Maestas said.

"We have a lot of really great talent here in San Antonio. Not only just in San Antonio, but around Texas, and we want to be able to showcase that," he said.

The show initially started production in a garage and has been broadcast online for the past three months.

It will continue to be online at www.myspace.com/latenightlivewithcleto.

"We are all really pumped because we are trying to promote the show," he said.
