Whipping minds and bodies into shape at annual HealthFest

Cardio exercise tutorials included kickboxing, fencing, tai chi, boot camp and dance expressions.
Cycling students in KINE 1101, Indoor Cycling, exercised on stationary bicycles during their Wednesday class session while guests watched.
Instructor Martha Stephenson directed the students in pedaling while sitting and standing and riding for cardio-resistance and fat-burning.
The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center conducted a blood drive in Gym 1.
Janice Carpio, community relations assistant director for the organization, described the blood drive as an overall success.
The projected estimate was 20 donors and 19 students were received with 11 people unable to give blood do to low iron, high blood pressure or high fever.
Door prizes were given away every 30 minutes courtesy of L&M Bookstore.
Prizes included backpacks, totebags, coffee mugs and gift certificates.
Free music downloads were distributed for www.emusic.com courtesy of the movie "Run Fatboy Run," which premiered in theaters March 28.

I got to say give me more Stunts of self-defense. I better take that class then take stupid army rotc or kickboxing class and tai chi.
I would like to learn those falls even that one fall he did jump up to a i guress a side fall or it could be a backfall . (Continued…)

I am freshman and this is my first time year.
I enjoy healthfest plus enjoy watching the self-defense because it was more action then all of the demos there put on. (Continued…)
