New payment schedule set for fall semester

A new payment schedule will be in effect for summer and fall, Martin Ortega, director of admissions and records, said Wednesday.
The online schedules will be corrected to reflect the new deadlines and installment plan changes as soon as the information is provided to the college's catalog and schedule coordinator Lisa Morales, she said Thursday.
The printed versions of the schedules have already gone to press and cannot be updated, she said.
For fall, students registering from April 21-July must pay by July 18. Payment deadline for students registering July 19-Aug. 23 is Saturday of the week the student registered. Classes for fall begin Aug. 25.
Brenda Gonzales, accounting clerk at the business office, said that a change in installment plans will take place for fall.
For students using the installment plan, one-third of the total plus a $25 administration fee is due by the payment deadline.
The second installment deadline by which two-thirds of the total must be paid is Aug. 23. The final installment deadline is Oct. 18.
Failure to pay all of the amount owed by Oct. 18 will cause withdrawal from of all classes.
Students also can use an installment plan for summer classes. One-half of the total for Summer 1 plus the $25 administration fee must be paid by June 2 for students registering by that date or June 6 for students who register after June 2. For Summer 2, students must pay this amount by July 9 or July 11.
Three-fourths of the total owed must be paid by the first class day of Summer 1, June 9, or Summer 2, July 14.
Online schedules for registration are available at http://www.accd.edu/sac/sacmain/schedule/default.htm.
Printed schedules will be available April 21 in the office of admissions and records in Room 216 of Fletcher Administration Center, while the district's computer system is available from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. It is not available Sunday.
