Plot: This edgy and soon to be controversial film was designed for cop junkies. It also will envelope fans of classic television shows with the witty, resident physician Hugh Laurie, star of "House," while finding familiarity reminiscent of "Training Day."
Keanu Reeves is a veteran cop of the Los Angeles Police Department left in a life without pleasures after the death of his wife.
He is a pitbull cop sent in to attack the forbidden jugular of Los Angeles' highest profile criminal world. He promotes his own twisted interpretation of an ethics code while executing masses throughout the criminal culture and creating civil unrest throughout the community.
After a few cases go bad, Reeves finds himself defending his rationale and duplicitous behavior to the entire department.
Cheering for the bad guy has never been so good, while deciphering what is truth and asking if there is any justice in the gutters of LA that have become fit for kings.
Warning, this film includes various sexual inuendos and racial inferences that may not be fit for the consort.

Rating: 4 stars
