But Team 1 pulled off a miracle, as business sophomore Derrick Brady made a jumping catch off business sophomore Arzi Austin's desperation pass to the back corner of the end zone for the game-tying score.

"We had thrown the Hail Mary twice to get us back in the game, and as soon as I released it, I felt pretty good about it," Austin said.

Team 3 recovered from the blow on the first overtime drive, wasting no time on a 50-yard touchdown pass that sealed the championship.

While terrorizing quarterbacks all day, Richardson also exposed the defense throughout the tournament by catching touchdowns in the back of the end zone, the front corners and on long catches and carries.

He talked about how his team was able to recover from the score occurring on the last play of the game.

"It was a good catch, and we had to get up and do something," Richardson said. "Luckily, we got the coin toss and we received it."

Richardson gained his athletic experience through playing three varsity sports at Jefferson High School.

"I played basketball, track and even tennis, not football, though," Richardson said.

In a theme from the March 25 three-on-three volleyball tournament, competition took a back seat to fun as players made fun of each other, praised each other's highlights and listened to commentary coming from the gallery.

"I had a lot of fun with these guys, even though we lost," Austin said.

If anyone knows of any 4man tournaments hitting your area any time soon please let me know. I'm in Dallas and love to play. Plan on coming down as soon as I know of something being held. (Continued…)
